Roong Aroon School

It was 10 years since the first time I came to this school when I was in P.1 [Grade1]. I’m the one who stay in this school since the first year that the school initiated. My generation knows as RA.07 and the other teachers prefer to keep an eye on our generation especially. I feel like it was a very long time ago since my first day in this school has gone. I nearly can’t remember anything about the first day of my school’s life. Now I have to look back on the school in the past. There are a lot of stories to tell, some I forgot it, some are disappearing, but some are still in my memory. I can’t tell almost stories, but I will tell you some of them.

The blue vests and grey skirts were the school’s uniform. It seems to be one of the easy things I can remember. Let me tell you about this school.

Roong Aroon School was initiated with the ideas to develop and reform the education not to just learn for the knowledge, but learn to analyses the knowledge and be able to bring it to use in real life.
It was a lovely day with the blue sky not too far away from the city. There is a school surround by the environments like national park especially at the entrance of school which is a compasses and some glass above. In my opinion this school is one of the biggest schools I ever seen. There is a swamp in the middle of school where the fishes which have a head look like snake are. I remember that when I was in P.4 [Grade4] I swam in this swamp. There is some stinking mud in the bottom of the swamp and in the edge of swamp. We had fishing in that swamp and got a lot of fishes to eat. I can’t believe that we had eaten the fishes from that swamp, but anyway we did it.

In my opinion Roong Aroon School prefer to have the field trips in Kanchanaburi which is a province in western central of Thailand. I had a field trip first time in Kanchanaburi in P.5 [Grade5] and last time in M.4 [Grade10]. There are a plenty of interesting places to visit such as Sinugkarin Dam, KangRiang, SaiYorg and Museums which I can’t remember the name. I never bored to have a field trip in Kanchanaburi, because there a lot of things and activities to do at field trip. I like to survey around the area in Thai style country it so wonderful. Fresh air, Cold climate, No noise and Good environments are the things that didn’t have in the city and I really like it.

At the end of term we have to present our knowledge that we have learnt during the term. The presentation called Yod Nam in Thai, but the best in English I think is Dew of Knowledge. I had done Yod Nam about 25 times since I stay in this school.
I think this is the best process to prove how much knowledge that you can remember and link it with other knowledge then use your own words to explain it. This process can prove that you really understand what you have learnt or not.

There are a lot of stories to write and I feel like I’m writing a diary which no knows the word ‘END’. I wish I will have enough time to write it more in my funny summer holiday.

Thank you for reading my essay.
